PAK won by 7 wickets (27 balls left) ! In ICC T20 world cup 2021

Quite an easy win for Pakistan in the end and their preparation for the World Cup has begun in a pretty good manner. Their bowlers were on the mark to keep West Indies down to a low score and the batters chased it down easily.

Pakistan did lose Mohammad Rizwan in the Powerplay but it was once again their main man, Babar Azam, who rose to the occasion. He along with Fakhar Zaman, who was initially not in the 15, put up a really good stand to take their side to the brink of victory. Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez then fell in quick succession but Shoaib Malik and Zaman ensured that there were no more wickets to fall and finished the job in style.

Pakistan batting side highlights

Muhammad Rizwan scored 13 runs by playing 12 balls !

Babar Azam play a wonderful match and scored 50 runs by playing 41 balls !

Fakhar zaman play very well he score 46 runs by playing 24 balls !

Muhammad hafeez got out on his first ball such a bad day for Muhammad hafeez!

Sohaib Malik score 14 runs from 11 balls !

West Indies bolling highlights

R.Rampaul Take 1 wicket in 3 over having a score of 19 runs

O.McCoy Take 0 wicket in 3 over having a score of 18 runs

R.Chase Take 0 wicket in 3 over having a score of 25 runs

H.Walsh Jr. Take 2 wicket in 3 over having a score of 41 runs

O.Thomas Take 0 wicket in 3 over having a score of 26 runs

The Windies bowlers did not have enough runs to defend but they still won’t be happy with their bowling. Pakistan chased this down with ease and Kieron Pollard would have loved their bowlers to make it difficult for them. There were a few positives though like Ravi Rampaul who bowled quite economically. Hayden Walsh too did go for runs but he is in the side to take wickets and he did get two. Overall though, it was an under-par performance from the defending champions.

Right then! That is all we have from this clash. But we have two more warm-up matches lined up. India will face England and Australia will take on New Zealand. Both the games will start at 6 pm Local (2 pm GMT). Switch tabs and enjoy that action!
